Our Team

Kellie is known as the "Head" of this team.  She is the matchmaker and analyzer of our breeding program.  Kellie has a long history in the sport of dogs, having descended from two previous generations of dog enthusiasts.  Kellie is a current member in good standing of the Professional Handlers Association, and has made her living in the sport of dogs for over 20 years.  She also has a background in performance work, including Obedience and Hunt Test Trials.

Sara is the "Heart" of our team.  All of our puppies are whelped and raised at Sara's house, with the assistance of her young son and husband of over a decade.  Sara makes sure that all of our mother's have everything they need to birth healthy and vibrant puppies.  She is also in charge the ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and the implementation of the Puppy Culture program with all of our litters. 

Ellen Ewart and Joy Ory are an integral part of the Fyrebyrd team.  Ellen operates under the "Alchemy" prefix and Joy under "Ory".  These 2 ladies are hard working and committed individuals, who have brought depth to our program.  They allow us to co-own and co-breed Brittanys with them, which helps to add a diversity to our genepool.  These ladies along with Linda McCartney of "Triumphant Brittany's North" and Kristyn Stout of "Triumphant Brittany's South", make Fyrebyrd more successful than we ever could have been on our own.

Roxanne is our LIFE SAVOR!!!!!!  She was born into the sport as well.  When she was younger she was successful in 4-H and AKC Junior Showmanship.  She has travelled all of the U.S. working as Kellie's Apprentice.  Now in College she works closely with Sara taking care of and nurturing our puppies, as well as helping care for and train the older dogs, and  Sara's small human child.  We can't imagine our lives with her!
